Richard Larin is a 2017 OF/MIF, 3B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends West Broward. Medium frame, lean athletic build with room to fill out. Good athlete with solid body control, footspeed. Ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, high hands set, small toe raise trigger, very quiet hands. Simple, repeatable swing, swings hard and shows solid bat speed. Natural loft in swing path, efficient and compact hand path, able to replicate swing well. Worked out in the outfield during defensive drills. Good first step and instincts, works to ball well and also shows ability to use lower half, drive through on throwing mechanics. Solid arm strength, accurate throws to bases. Very good student.
