Keelyn Johnson is a 2016 C with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Pineville, LA who attends Pineville HS. Medium athletic build, mature look with good present strength. Right handed hitter, high hand start, strides in well and uses his lower half, swings hard and has very good bat speed, looking to pull and drive the ball, nice extension out front, recognizes pitches well and makes solid contact, power approach and he has the tools and timing to do it well. Low flexible set on defense, has athletic quickness and moves well laterally, can get rushed occasionally in his exchange and footwork, has defensive tools for the next level.
