Joshua Plummer is a 2017 OF/SS/RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Hanover HS. Plus athletic build, long and strong with lots of room to get stronger. Switch-hitter, stronger with better bat speed and ability to drive the ball left handed, uses his lower half very well and shows left handed power. Swing is shorter and more controlled right handed, more of a backside, middle of the field approach, has enough bat speed to keep working both sides. 7.03 runner, comes through the ball well in the outfield, good footwork and athleticism, long and loose arm action with good arm strength and accuracy. Also pitched, young pitching mechanics he's still learning to repeat, lots of moving parts and multiple arm slots. Fastball topped out at 90 mph with good sink, drops down and gets under a soft curveball, rotational mechanics. Has potential on the mound but doesn't look like he's been there much. Good student.
