Hall is a junior left handed pitcher from Georgia with good strength through his hips and lower half. He has somewhat of a drop and drive type of delivery, with good balance and pace to it. Hall’s arm action is short, fairly quick and repeatable. He threw 4 innings in Fort Myers, showing an 80-82 mph fastball and a 66-70 mph curveball that had a good deep bite at times. Although he worked mostly with those 2 pitches, he did mix in an occasional 72 mph change up. Hall is a polished pitcher who works with purpose to both sides of the plate, mixes his pitches well, fields his position and holds runners close. In short, he does all the type of things that help a pitcher win games. He’s not particularly projectable physically but will take full advantage of his given tools. Hall is also a very good student.
