Zach Landry is a 2018 MIF/RHP with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Mashpee, MA who attends Mashpee High School. Younger player with a lean, slender frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out and develop physically. Posted an impressive 6.87 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary middle infielder, showed clean actions, fielded the ball clean, good accuracy and arm strength up to 80 mph. At the plate, started with a slightly open stance, high hand set, and a leg lift timing mechanism. Showed intent to drive the ball, fired hips well with torque through lower half, linear swing path, and raw bat speed. Worked all fields with quick hands through the zone. Also pitched, leg raise to waist, lands on stiff front leg, compact windup, short arm action, and threw from a three quarter arm slot. Clean mechanics through delivery with ability to repeat. Fastball worked 77-81 mph with arm side life. Showed a curveball as well with big depth and flashed sharpness, while replicating his arm speed well at 72 mph. Very good student.
