AJ Miller is a 2018 1B/OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Petaluma, CA who attends Casa Grande HS. Strong athletic build. 7.18 runner, has athletic actions at first base with plenty of arm strength, light on his feet with soft hands. Should be athletic enough with plenty of arm strength for left field. Left handed hitter, spread stance with a busy hand load, short and quick swing, uses his strong hands well to generate bat speed, line drive swing, ball comes off the barrel hard, gap to gap approach, can drive the gaps hard but not much lift in his swing at present. Has the potential to be a high average/high doubles type of hitter. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon.
