Matt Hohn is a 2017 3B/OF, RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Claremont, CA. Big frame, thick strong muscular build. Good bat speed with projection for further development. Good extension through contact, balanced swing, mid field approach but shows ability to use whole field, good leverage, direct hand path, sound swing. Accurate throws from both the outfield and infield, solid arm strength with carry to throws. Hands work well in the infield short arm action, showed ability to throw from multiple slots and moves well laterally. Also pitched and was up to 80 mph from a three quarters arm slot. Good student. Named to the California Underclass Showcase Top Prospect Team.
