Ian Hislop is a 2018 SS with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends St Petersburg Catholic HS. Tall and lanky young build, lots of room and time to get stronger. Stays balanced well in the infield, athletic actions, has soft hands due to his balance and a quick exchange and release, low 3/4's arm slot, nice arm strength for his age. 7.72 runner but that will pick up as he gets stronger and more physically mature. Good gather and load hitting, loose swing with good extension at times, looks to get his hands extended, line drive swing path. Projects very well athletically in all areas.
