Wingate Seeger-Kaufman is a 2017 RHP/3B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Salt Lake City, UT who attends West HS. Smaller young build. Full hands over head delivery, drop and drive mechanics, uses legs well in his delivery, multi-piece delivery with a number of pauses and check points, repeats well and has some athleticism. Mid-70's fast ball from a 3/4's arm slot, gets good running life at times. Slurve type breaking ball with some sweeping depth. Throws strikes with both pitches and comes after hitters aggressively. 7.41 runner, shows good athleticism on defense with sound fundamentals both in the outfield and infield, efficient footwork with a very quick release. Right handed hitter, smooth swing, as some length and extension through the ball, makes consistent contact, line drive plane. Nice overall athlete. Good student.
