Collin Young is a 2020 OF/C with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia. Showed good speed and athleticism, running a 6.78 second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a medium frame, has a long approach to the ball with developing flow to the fielding actions. Flashes clean glove actions through the gather, making accurate throws to bases with good carry up to 85 miles per hour. Has spread stance at the plate, turning on balls well and making hard contact consistently to the pull side. Has a line drive approach at the plate, flashing some present bat speed and a direct path to contact a solid round of batting practice, and the swing played well in game action as well with solid bat-to-ball skills and more hard contact.
