Andrew Ronne is a 2021 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Athens, TN who attends McMinn. Large, projectable build with square shoulders and long limbs, lots of room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, coil at top of delivery with a gather on backside, compact arm stroke through the back and shows arm speed coming to release point. Lands closed at point of contact, fastball creates cut action through the zone up to 88 mph, projects for additional velocity with added strength and refined lower half mechanics. Showed both a curveball and slider, slider is more advanced of the two up to 75 mph with sharpness and bite to it down in the zone. Utilizes a big crow hop in the outfield outfield, takes longer strides moving towards the ball, young footwork and will continue to refine, shows a compact and quick arm stroke; developing actions in the infield, stays back on the ball, shows accuracy across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow in the box; gets to front side early with shift at times. Keeps hands inside the ball and looks to lift at the point of contact. Excellent student.
