William Hass is a 2018 RHP/UT with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Charlottesville, VA who attends St. Anne's-Belfield HS. Large frame with athletic present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.91 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, compact arm stroke through delivery to three quarters slot release, open landing on front side, fastball worked 76-79 MPH with occasional arm side life. Showed curveball with 11/5 shape and quality depth in the low 70's. Did a good job competing on the mound and throwing strikes consistently. Sets up to hit from upright, even stance with hands set deep. Loose hands through the zone, shows loft to plane, did a good job working to all fields off the barrel. Worked out defensively in the infield, fields cleanly with two hands deep, short footwork with balance to both sides, threw accurately across the diamond up to 79 MPH. Good student.
