Shane Lussier is a 2019 SS/OF, 2B, RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Peachtree Corners, GA who attends Greater Atlanta Christian School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.06 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, showed a clean arm action, funnels to field, moved well through slow roller with raw arm strength. At the plate, started with a wide base, open stance, medium hand set close to body, and a simple stride to the ball. Swing worked primarily trough hands with quickness to the ball. Line drive swing plane with an all fields approach. Improved with round and will continue to with additional strength and lower half incorporation. Also pitched, side step start, tall through backside, open landing, and threw from a three quarter arm slot. Varied arm angle and pitched effectively to contact. Whippy arm action with a fastball that worked 74-78/79 mph with short life. Good student.
