Vincent Molina is a 2017 C/3B/RHP with a 5-6 185 lb. frame from Creedmoor, TX who attends Del Valle HS. Short compact build, good present strength. Right handed hitter, short compact swing, looking to pull the ball and can turn on the inside pitch with some power behind it, rotational upper body swing, tends to cut off his swing out front. Has quick hands behind the plate, receives the ball well, low arm slot will cause issue with right handed batters and causes throws to tail, has good raw arm strength and carry, 1.95 best pop time. Showed some good third base tools in drills. Also pitched, simple delivery with a cross body release, repeats his mechanics well, extended 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly straight and generally located to his arm side. Sweeping curveball with good arm speed and a big early break, nice change up with fading action and proper arm speed. Versatile player who has some strength driven tools and knows how to play. Good student.
