DeShaun Strane is a 2024 OF/RHP, IF with a 5-9 167 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Rockdale County. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present physical strength proportioned nicely throughout frame. Primary outfielder, long strides moving towards the ball and shows athleticism, aggressive and fast footwork to the ball, fields the ball out front, shows arm strength, will get under the ball at times at release, tools project nicely moving forward. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a balanced and slightly open stance in the box with a high back elbow. Hand pump into load with leg lift trigger; fast hands help get the barrel out front and creates whip through the zone. Full swing path and incorporates lower half well, ball jumps off the barrel when squared; barreled a double to the opposite field in game off of a curveball. Very good student.
