Ryan Tiras is a 2018 OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Bellaire, TX who attends Emery Weiner Center For Jewish. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.94 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short steps moving to the ball, fields ball closer to body, gets on top of throws well and shows accuracy to intended base, arm strength and carry will continue to develop with added physical strength. Righthanded hitter, starts with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Upper body swing with a busy load in the box, line drive swing plane through the zone with occasional uphill. Keeps weight on backside through swing, gets the barrel to ball and shows strength when squared. Repeats swing, shows bat speed and creates line drive contact to pull side. Very good student.
