Jason Genshaw is a 2018 SS/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Seaford, DE who attends Sussex Technical. Medium, athletic build with a lean, projectable frame and room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, nice reactions to the ball, shows range to his right, fields with a wide base, accurate arm across with arm strength and carry that will continue to develop, nice balance and actions when charging in. Also pitched, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with loose and easy mechanics on the mound. Topped out at 73 mph and shows an 11-5 curveball. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and high back elbow. Short and direct hand path to the ball, stays inside the ball very well with ability to use all fields. Upper body swing, comfort to his to the opposite field gap, line drive swing plane with feel for the barrel. Very good student.
