Misael Sanchez is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Allentown, PA who attends Lehigh Valley Academy. Sanchez has a long lean build with room to fill out and add strength. Long arm circle in back to a high 3/4 slot. Good extension out front and pitches downhill with his fastball that topped at 78. Two pitch mix adding in curveball with 12/6 tight spin and good depth. Commands glove side well with fastball that is mostly straight but will show occasional arm side run when working arm side. Right handed hitter, upright stance with a high hand set, short line drive swing path to ball. Keeps hands inside and has feel for hitting the ball to the opposite field. Defensively, aggressive actions attacking the baseball, has quickness in actions. Arm works well and ball comes out clean with carry and is accurate. Has upside and projection in athletic body.
