Jon Bagwell is a 2017 3B/MIF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Highland, CA who attends Citrus Valley. Bagwell has a medium sized frame with a thin young build. Defensively he has solid footwork to the baseball with developing defensive actions. Bagwell has a rotational release with developing arm strength up to 69 MPH. At the plate, he starts with a square stance and falls back some at contact. Bagwell takes his hands to the baseball and made contact to the middle of the field in BP. He fisted balls and kept his hands it tight through his swing. Bagwell has more pop and bat speed in there with more extension in his swing. Good student.
