Deshon Morris is a 2017 OF/SS with a 5-4 122 lb. frame from FPO, AE who attends FPO. Morris has a smaller frame with a compact build. Defensively he attacks the ball well with solid footwork. Morris has some athleticism to his actions and they project best at 2B. He has developing arm strength up to 69 MPH from the outfield. At the plate, Morris is a switch hitter. From the right side, he starts with an open stance and a high hand set. He has a short quick swing and gets the barrel into the zone well. Morris squared the ball up to the middle of the field with line drive pop. From the left side, he has a similar approach with developing bat speed. Good student.
