Parker Schloss is a 2023 C/RHP with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Millstone Township, NJ who attends Allentown. Recorded a 5.10 second forty-yard dash time. Small, compact frame with plenty of time and room to fill out. Primary catcher with developing defensive skill set; Receives from a narrow, side-saddled stance with soft hands, step-and-replace footwork out of the crouch and quick release. Displayed slight elongated mid-line transfer to throw, recording arm strength up to 67 mph from behind the plate during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an narrow, open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates open stride and rotational lower mechanics to get to launch, while displaying a compact hand path and some bat-to-ball skills. Middle-of-the field approach with some feel for the barrel and occasional line drive impact to the gaps. Will continue to improve with mechanical refinements and additional strength. Good Student.
