Nathan Clark is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-6 200 lb. frame from Matthews, NC who attends Metrolina Christian Academy High School. Extra Large frame, lean, very slender build, athleticism, and lots of room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.49 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, showed a compact arm circle, online delivery, deception, extension, and threw from a high three quarter arm slot. Fastball showed arm side life at 81-83/84 mph with command to both sides of the plate. Threw easily with low effort with projection remaining. Curveball showed 11/5 depth with depth and flashed sharpness at 65 mph. Could use lower half more and generate additional extension down the mound, using size to the fullest. Secondary outfielder, fielded the ball centered, developing footwork, and raw arm strength. At the plate, started slightly open, tight grip on bat, high back elbow, and a leg lift timing mechanism. Pull oriented approach with bat speed and ability to improve with additional lower half in swing. Named to Top Prospect List.
