Matt Lowe is a 2018 1B/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Westlake Village, CA who attends Oaks Christian. Medium-large, athletic frame with wiry present strength and lots of room for additional physical development moving forward. Hits from open stance with low leg kick timing mechanism, exaggerated inside-out approach with consistent effort to hit the ball the other way regardless of where it's pitched or what kind of pitch it is. Shows bat speed with some hand quickness along with obvious inside hand path, will be able to drive the ball with more authority with additional strength and physical development. Good first step quickness at 1st base defensively with solid fielding actions and an accurate arm. Looked comfortable around the bag. Very good student.
