Tanner Lindsly is a 2018 C/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Keller HS. Large frame with broad shoulders, long limbs and a strong build. Primary catcher with a taller, slightly side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains some ground with quick, clean footwork. Fluid, smooth exchanges and released from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Created good carry to the bag when staying in tempo topping at 78 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 1.91. Left handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple front side trigger. Creates slight hand coil at load and shifts into contact with linear lower half actions. Loose, extended path to contact with a naturally leveraged barrel plane through extension. Primarily looked to work the ball to the middle of the field and showed good strength at contact. When squared, ball jumped off the barrel generating good carry to each gap. Good student.
