Brandon Pettinati is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Concordia Lutheran HS. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary righthanded pitcher, loose delivery with limited tension, full arm stroke through the backside working to a three-quarters arm slot, does a nice job of generating extension out front helping to create downhill plane. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, showed command to either side of the plate and lived down in zone mostly, true in life with occasional running life. Projects for more velocity with additional lower half incorporated and physical strength. Changes looks and holds runners well. Curveball is hard, up to 77 mph with late break and 11-5 shape down in the zone, swing-and-miss type offering and thrown for strikes. Named to Main Event Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
