Alex Celeiro is a 2022 SS/2B/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Bellmore, NY who attends St Anthony. Recorded a 7.36 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium frame with room to add strength and mature. Primary shortstop with good footwork, lateral range and clean glove work during the fielding process. Uses clean transfer and engaged lower half well to deliver accurate throws in drills, recorded up to 76 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher; strike thrower with simple, repeatable mechanics and low effort. Fastball worked in the low-70s, topping out at 74 mph in this look with minimal movement. Right-handed hitter that hits from an spread stance and uses a leg lift trigger for timing. Middle of the field approach with an inside-out line drive swing path, controlled movements to launch and ability to stay inside the baseball. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and added strength. Excellent Student.
