Teagan Carey is a 2021 SS/2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral. Medium athletic build with overall athletic actions to his game. Primary middle infielder, posted a 7.18 sixty yard dash time. Possesses quick feet that play well into either hole. Makes great first step reads off the bat and fields the ball out in front. Funnels the ball well, transfers it quickly with a strong arm that carries nicely across the field. At the plate, uses a conventional stance with higher hands that work well to the baseball. Short trigger with the front side, works inside the ball earlier and finds extension through the zone out in front. Lower half actions and coil are still developing leaving room for more power in the future. Barrel possesses some whip through the zone, still understanding his timing mechanisms at the plate.
