Evan Romeo is a 2017 OF/1B/LHP with a 5-10 173 lb. frame from Dunwoody, GA who attends Dunwoody HS. Medium frame with athletic, slender frame; good projection remaining on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.08 seconds. Sets up to hit from wide-based stance with high hands and back elbow, bars hands into load, shows good bat speed into swing with quickness to hands. Gets off backside well and torques hips, line drive swing plane with good intent through contact. Made solid contact consistently, best power currently to the pull field with more power potential in the future. Worked out defensively in the outfield, short/choppy steps to the ball with good quickness and balance, gets behind ball well into good fielding position and works through the ball into crow hop, shows quality arm strength with solid carry and accuracy clocked up to 78 MPH. Good student.
