Luis Lugo is a 2016 SS/3B, 2B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Delray Beach, FL who attends Elev8 Sports Institute. Medium frame, well-proportioned athletic build. Solid defensive showing, moves pretty well in the infield, good overall actions. Funnels ball nicely, soft hands with good transfer and solid footwork into throwing position, displayed solid body control on slow roller. Right handed hitter, even stance, quiet hands with small trigger. Stays balanced throughout swing, has feel for using the barrel, solid, patient middle of the field approach with line-drive swing geared for contact. Could tap into more power potential with stronger finish through contact. Very good student.
