Dawson Belitz is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 5-3 135 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Hardin Valley High School. Smaller build and frame with room to continue to develop physically. Posted a 7.60 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, developing arm strength and actions to ball and fielded clean. At the plate, started slightly open with a high hand set. Swung with a level plane through the zone and showed good bat to ball ability. Will improve with additional strength in frame. Secondary pitcher, showed a compact arm action that was over the top with an online delivery with a cut fastball that worked 67-69 mph. Filled the zone with his fastball as well as a 11-5 shaped curveball. Good student.
