Patrick Santorella is a 2017 3B/ with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Scituate, MA who attends Catholic Memorial. Medium frame with solid, athletic build at present and good room on frame to continue filling out. Posted a 7.25 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits with leg lift timing mechanism, quick trigger with good hands to and through the zone, line drive approach and swing path, up the middle approach for most part, made consistently hard, squared contact on a line up the middle, will cut himself off somewhat on front side. Primary 3rd baseman, worked out defensively in the infield. Good first step to both sides with good routes to the ball, stays down and fields cleanly with solid funnel, quick feet and overall actions, smooth transfer and release, consistently accurate throws across the IF with velocity topping at 71 MPH. Good student.
