Elijah Eusebe is a 2018 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Cutler Bay, FL who attends Miami Southridge. Large frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Ran a 7.07 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with smooth, athletic footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling and works through exchange with fluidity. Flashed solid range to each side and released from a mid three-quarters arm slot. Throws generating accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 80 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a balanced, even stance and high hand set. Created some shift into contact with linear lower half actions. Loose, fluid path to contact with a lifted plane through extension. Generated good bat speed through the zone and maintaining a smooth stroke while working to all fields throughout batting practice. Good student. Named to the 2017 National Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
