Cole Beverlin is a 2018 RHP/ with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Port Orange, FL who attends Spruce Creek. XL frame with long, lean present build; excellent projection remaining on body. Primary righthanded pitcher, ideal pitcher's build with lots of projection on the mound. Extreme crossfire delivery with very closed landing, works crossbody as a result, compact arm stroke through the back to three quarters arm slot, pretty easy delivery and arm stroke throughout. Fastball worked 82-86 mph with good arm side life and occasional sinking action; did a good job pounding the bottom of the strike zone with the pitch. Curveball was out pitch; thrown with excellent spin and sharpness, misses bats with pitch. Good two pitch mix with command and projection. Simple hitting mechanics with toe tap and light stride, went to all fields with some barrel feel. Named to 2017 Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List; good student. Verbal commitment to Florida State
