Davis Rising is a 2024 RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Boiling Springs, SC who attends Combine Academy. Features a slender build with room to add. Primary right-handed pitcher. Throws exclusively out of stretch. Utilizes tall and fall mechanics with a quick tempo down the mound. Throws from a lower slot with deception out of the hand. Fastball sat 74-79 mph (2270 rpm) with heavy tailing action. Offering worked well to the bottom of the zone. Pairs it with a sweeping slider at 68-71 mph (2040 rpm). Flashed the ability to create tilt when thrown well. Still developing consistent feel in the offering. Ran a 7.57 60-yard dash. Very good student.
