Will Reetz is a 2018 1B/OF/RHP with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Hickman, NE who attends Norris HS. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and solid present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front with soft hands, shuffle steps coming off the base with a quick pivot to throws, short and quick arm action with solid carry and arm strength across the diamond. Fuller arm action from the outfield, moves well to the ball, quick transfer with an upright release, whippy arm action and projects well with additional lower half incorporated at release. Also pitched and shows two-way potential. Leg lift up to belt with a slight hip turn at top, short stride down the mound. Full arm action through back working to a three-quarters release, gets on top of fastball well and topped out at 86 mph, comes out well, pretty true in life. Curveball showed short 11-5 shape at 70 mph. Righthanded hitter, begins with hands pulled back and uses a small leg lift trigger for timing. Direct with path with a short and quick swing, very quiet lower half with a short weight shift moving into contact. Made nice adjustment in game to sit back on outer half breaking ball and go with it to opposite field. Line drive swing plane, flashed solid contact off barrel with jump when squared, projects for more power moving forward. Outstanding student.
