Brandon Dieter is a 2018 SS/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Covina, CA who attends South Hills HS. Medium build with broad shoulders and some physical projection. 6.81 runner, easy infield actions with good balance and footwork, quick release on his throws, makes accurate throws, polished actions defensively. Right handed hitter, very quick hands, can make adjustments at the plate, hits hard line drives all over the field, can turn on the inside pitch, really battles well and has a knack for fouling off pitches and staying patient. Also a prospect on the mound, high performance pitcher in high school, simple efficient delivery, fastball topped out at 91 mph with life, nice change up with fading action, throws strikes with a solid curveball. Polished and mature actions in all areas on the field, gamer who knows how to play. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Stanford. for the 2017 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
