Lemonte Johnson is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Kernersville, NC who attends East Forsyth High School. Younger looking, has some height, very lean, small frame. Speed is an asset, uses it to his advantage on the bases. 6.93 60-yard dash time. Short arm action in the outfield, showed quickness, decent arm strength evidenced by 75 mph throws, aggressive to the ball, good first step, momentum through the throw, fields cleanly, accurate throwing to the bases. Offensively, chokes up on the bat, high hand set, high back elbow, collapsed back half and drove with leverage, wide stance, some hand speed, showed some balance in his swing, pulled the ball well, can go to all fields with hits. Needs to add on size and strength. Exceptional student.
