Christopher Cesiro is a 2018 2B/SS with a 5-7 148 lb. frame from Spring Hill, FL who attends Frank W. Springstead HS. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional size with strength. Primary second baseman with smooth paced, fundamental footwork while working to and through the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling with efficient exchanges. Released from a high energy three-quarters arm slot creating on line carry across the infield, topped at 77 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly open, balanced stance and large leg lift trigger. Lower half launches to contact with rotational actions. Repeats a simple, line drive swing path well with a mid-field approach. Flashed present bat speed through the zone and consistently squared up contact throughout batting practice. Very good student as well.
