Brandon Vasquez is a 2022 3B/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Round Rock, TX who attends Cedar Ridge. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.82 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with leg lift trigger, long stride and gets drifty onto front side, occasional leverage when synched up, has strength and can impact when on time. Primary infielder, length to actions throughout, hands work when out front, clocked up to 77 mph across the diamond from short and 1st base. Showed 82 mph arm from the outfield. Also pitched, high 3/4 slot with plane to the plate, fastball worked 76-79 mph with life, solid feel for spinning the ball, good bite on curveball, projects well. Excellent student.
