David Wiley is a 2021 OF/3B, UT with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Statham, GA who attends North Oconee. Flashed a medium frame with a slender build showing some room to fill out down the road. Athletic looks as well. Ran a 7.05 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder getting behind the baseball before working through it and then slows momentum down. Higher throws to the bags as he showed to be accurate while being around the bag. Long transfer with extra steps involved to make sure of accurate throws. Secondary Righthanded Pitcher starting slightly closed off to hitter before finishing square to the hitter. Flashed a fast arm as he relied on his upper half to create velocity. High three-quarter arm slot as he filled up the upper part of the strikezone. Righthanded hitter starting from a spread out stance while square to the mound. Small leg kick and go while keeping weight on backside throughout swing. Slight bat wrap over the head while showing a short to it swing path. Middle to pull side approach looking to drive the baseball on a line. Proved to be a hustle guy on the basepaths creating runs with good reads. Outstanding Student.
