Jonathan Jaime is a 2022 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Snellville, GA who attends Brookwood. Extra-large, broad shouldered frame with present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front, shows quickness to arm and can drop slot off the bag, shorter steps and will continue to refine footwork, shows softness to hands. Short stride through the ball in release from the outfield, extended slot, upright release, accurate throws and arm strength projects with additional lower half implemented. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate; utilizes a gliding leg lift trigger. Upper body dominant swing, uses hands well and shows life off of the barrel when squared with occasional lift to path. Works the middle and pull side parts of the field, shows quickness to hands and can continue to unlock additional strength in swing. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Tulane.
