Luke Baca is a 2019 MIF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Volcano Vista HS. Medium athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. Left handed hitter, exaggerated open stance, occasionally late closing, aggressive swing approach and has some strength in his swing, head moves on his swing with his effort, has the raw tools to hit but will need adjustments in his timing and balance for consistent contact. 7.64 runner, showed good footwork and some athleticism in the infield, made accurate throws with a loose and projectable arm action. Good student.
