Steven Ciancio is a 2023 SS/3B with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Poughkeepsie, NY who attends Spackenkill. Recorded a 7.45 second 60-yd dash time. Young, slender build with plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Primary shortstop with active foot work, quick exchange and fundamentally sound base. Uses agility to field out in front with soft hands while showing good accuracy across the diamond. Overall feel for the position with developing arm strength that will continue to improve with added strength. Right-handed hitter with high hand set, big leg kick trigger and high back elbow. Shows quickness to his hands with swing path that gets downhill at times. Exhibited ability to work to his pull-side, that will improve with added strength. Good Student.
