2023 Northeast Top Prospect Games @ Rutgers (Wed-Thur)
Jason Brown is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Marlton, NJ who attends Cherokee. Athletic, high waisted frame with tons of physical projection remaining. Recorded a 7.36 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary middle-infielder with smooth, fluid actions throughout the fielding process. Works downhill through the baseball, exhibits plenty of lateral range to either side and funnels cleanly out in-front. Shows the ability to change arm slots when necessary and produced plenty of arm strength across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 83 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with lower hand set and a leg lift trigger. Balanced approach with looseness to his hands, feel for the barrel and plenty of present bat speed. Gap-to-gap impact with simple, repeatable stroke and burgeoning power potential. Fundamentally sound prospect with tons of projection remaining on both sides of the baseball, will continue to expand overall skill set with continued strength gains. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
