Kevin Heinrich is a 2019 RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Large frame, lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Primary right handed pitcher, even start with a side step delivery, crossfire element, online landing towards the plate, and threw from a raised three quarter arm slot. Medium arm action through the back and slightly hooked, showed a lengthened arm action in warmups. Good tempo on the mound with slight pause at balance point and heel turn finish down the mound. Fastball worked 79-82 mph with mostly true life and showed ability to get to both sides. Showed a slider with late tilt and 10/4 shape a 68 mph with late bite. Curveball showed looser rotation at 67 mph but got over for strikes. Did not waste pitches and attacked hitters with fastball and showed a willingness to work inside. Should throw slider more often. Very good student.
