Steven Sidoti is a 2021 OF/2B with a 5-5 125 lb. frame from Greenlawn, NY who attends Chaminade.Young, square shouldered build with lean, projectable build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.92 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short steps moving towards the ball and shows quickness, fields the ball out front, funnels into a full arm stroke through the backside and works to an extended release, can continue to implement additional lower half into release, worked around the bag with throws, arm strength and carry will continue to develop. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; loads hands bat at start of swing. Shows a feel for mechanics, simple and repeats with linear path through the zone. Gets to front side early with weight transfer, can work to the opposite field and employs a contact oriented approach. Very good student.
