Joseph Carello is a 2022 OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from New City, NY who attends Clarkstown North Senior. Extra-large, athletic frame with long limbs and some present strength to frame, additional roomto fill throughout. Ran a 7.3160-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes shorter steps moving towards the ball, fields it out front, gets up to a higher three-quarters release points and works on top of ball with throws, developing overall actions, some effort at release. Left-handed hitter, begins with an open and tall stance in the box and a high hand set and back elbow; moving parts to mechanics. Stays rather short to the ball with swing, gets off balance with lower half mechanics occasionally, creates some lift when getting the barrel out front on time. Excellent student.
