Fletcher Reynolds is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends Bishop Verot HS. Medium frame with broad shoulder and present strength. Ran a 7.57 sixty-yard dash. Primary left handed hitter with a short rock step to high leg kick delivery. Gathers well at balance point and stays tall on backside. Compact stride towards the plate and creates good on line direction while carrying momentum through finish. Works with rhythm and tempo with the ability to consistently fill the strike zone. Released from a compact three-quarters arm slot and generated good downhill angle to the plate with a running fastball that topped at 81 miles per hour. Curveball has 3/7 shape with tight rotation and good depth and occasional sweep. Pitches off fastball well and consistently kept hitter off balance. Has feel for both fastball and curveball offering with the ability to work to each edge of the plate. Also worked out defensively from the outfield showing some athletic actions while working through the baseball. Created some carry to the bag with an uphill release topping at 75 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with a crouched, spread stance and high back elbow set. Lower half has rotational actions to contact generating occasional shift. Loose, extended hand path to contact with a naturally lifted swing plane through extension. Ball just some to the gaps when front side trigger is on time. Will continue to develop power potential with future implementation of the lower half. Very good student as well.
