Parker Cosby is a 2018 C/ with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Escalon, CA who attends Escalon HS. Has a medium frame, lean build, and room to continue to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.98 second sixty yard dash. From behind the plate, starts with a side saddle stance with solid footwork, solid carry on throws down to second base. At the plate, starts with a slightly open, upright stance and a leg lift trigger. Hands drop slightly in load into weight shift, strong launch position into the baseball, solid bat speed. Uses a middle of the field approach and generates backspin on the baseball. Outstanding student.
