Brock Burling is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-8 205 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard West HS. Extra tall and lean build, lots of room to get stronger. Side step delivery, extended 3/4's arm slot, falls off to the first base side with big body lean and recoil on release, will have to improve direction to home plate to take the next step in his development, delivery has good tempo until release, long arm action in back, arm works well coming through with good plane to the plate. Fastball to 85 mph, lots more their with additional strength and adjustments, fastball gets nice running action at times. Sweeping curveball, showed good feel for the pitch after some repetitions with the ability to throw it for strikes. Good athlete for his size and build and has all the tools to improve.
